Waterfall above town of Riffe at Riffe Lake showing current upper clearing limit. Same clearing limit surveyed there in 1961. Tacoma Power announced their plans to raise Mossyrock Dam and Riffe Lake by 20 feet in Dec. 1963 and applied to Federal Power Commission in April 1964 with permission granted in Dec. 1964.
